This is my beautiful friend; she is a mother of two, serious about jogging/running and now Slimming World Consultant…
I met Kathryn at Trentham Gardens, where we both love to jog. It doesn’t matter if we have our children with us, because we have pushchairs! (and there’s no stopping us, come rain or shine)
Kathryn has a passion for running and general fitness. She was keen to put on her running shoes soon after the birth of her second child, but found it difficult to do following a Caesarean.
“I felt so awful – as well as feeling that tiredness that all new mums feel, I was completely lacking in confidence.”
After joining a Slimming World group, Kathryn found that she was feeling more energetic, and it was long before she was back on the road, doing what she loves!
As well as rediscovering her love for running, she began meal planning and batch cooking.
“It is easy to fill up on generous portions of home cooked family favourites, such as spaghetti bolognese, curries and stews, and snack on fruit if I get hungry between meals.”
Kathryn is passionate about helping others. She has now trained as a Slimming World consultant, and has opened her brand new group at the Holiday Inn, Clayton. Contact her if you are interested in joining her group. Sessions are held at 7.30pm.
